Pennine Manor Hotel, Huddersfield

The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were uncomfortably hot, but at least they were cozy. The service was surprisingly professional and attentive. The location wasn't ideal but worked well for a quiet retreat within a short drive to town. The dining experience was a mix of underwhelming and superb. Overall, a place with potential but room for improvement.

The hotel rooms were excellent value for money and spacious enough for accessibility. They were exceptionally clean and a real credit to the cleaning staff, although some minor finishing issues were visible on the walls. The service was attentive and friendly, although there was a hiccup with a flat beer order. The location is cozy but needs some upkeep, offering a relaxed atmosphere and a good drink selection in the bar. The dining experience had slight delays and cheap ingredients on some occasions but was generally good. Overall, the facility is well-kept, with good views of the hills and conveniently located near Huddersfield and Halifax.

The hotel offers nicely decorated and very clean rooms with a comfortable bed and a nice en-suite, along with fantastic views. The staff is very helpful and cooperative, although a bit of TLC could enhance the overall experience.
